Dark Samurai

Dark Samurai is a roguelike horde survival game with online co-op multiplayer, permanent progression, a persistent open world and quests set in feudal Japan overrun by demons.

Multiplayer

The game supports online co-op for up to four players. The fully deterministic rollback networking guarantees a lag-free gameplay experience for everybody in your party, no matter where they are.

The multiplayer system adjusts the difficulty and rewards according to the number of players in the session. You can share loot and resources with your teammates and cooperate with them to fight bosses and complete quests.

Horde Survival

You get to slay demons, collect loot, level up, unlock powerful abilities, and discover legendary samurai equipment. Purchase permanent upgrades that carry over to your next run.

Choose from different character classes, each with their own abilities and weapons, such as swords, bows, and shurikens, allowing for diverse playstyles and strategic depth.

Quests

The rich and varied non-linear quest system offers you many opportunities to earn rewards, such as gold, items, reputation, skills, and character classes.

You will encounter blacksmiths, quests givers, and shops who offer you their goods and services. Various quests to help the locals, such as defending a village from a demon attack, increase your reputation which unlocks further opportunities.

Open World

The persistent open world inspired by feudal Japan evolves as you complete quests. Explore different regions, such as plains, forests, and mountains, each with their own enemies, quests, and secrets.

The game has a beautiful and immersive graphics style that captures the atmosphere of feudal Japan, featuring cherry blossoms, bamboo groves, lanterns, pagodas, and temples.

Open Development
